Bachman Homes - The Definition of Quality

Green Building

A green home is defined as using less energy, water and natural resources… creating less waste… and incorporating a healthier environment for its inhabitants. During the green building certification process we immediately recognized that our historic building practices - core to our business - have long exceeded NAHB green standards. As such, Bachman Homes was one of the early pioneers in our community to promote sustainable, high-performance homes.

Green home building incorporates resource efficiency into every step of the building and development process to minimize environmental impact. Our custom, personal approach creates a balance between value, features and budget. Further, our clients are reassured that many green features are already in place before construction even begins. This approach creates an efficient home with a safer and more comfortable environment, not to mention an increased value for future resale.
